Gender bias on Wikipedia

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wikipedia Monument in Słubice, Poland has both male and female editors.[1][2] The initial model for the sculpture featured only men.

Gender bias on Wikipedia means that Wikipedia editors are mostly men. Fewer biographies on Wikipedia are about women. There are fewer articles for or about things that are important to women. Those articles are not as good.[3][4]
