Gilbert Meyer

Gilbert Meyer (26 December 1941 – 21 September 2020) was a French politician. He was a deputy[1] in the National Assembly from 1993 to 2007.[2] He was the Mayor of Colmar from 1995 to 4 July 2020.

He was a member of the Rally for the Republic (RPR) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP). Meyer was born in Dessenheim, France.

Meyer died on 21 September 2020 from a stroke caused by glioblastoma in Colmar at the age of 78.[2]
