GoodReads is a free database of books, authors, and book reviews. In December 2007, it had 10,000,000 books in its database.[1]

In GoodReads, a user can do the following things:

  • Sign up and register books
  • Rate & Review books
  • Generate library catalogs
  • Generate Reading lists
  • Create their own groups of book suggestions
  • Surveys, polls, blogs, and discussions
