Gorani people

The Gorani people live in different parts of the Balkan Mountains, especially in Kosovo. Their main population center is the tripoint border area of Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia. The language which is spoken by the Gorani people is a mix of Albanian language and Old Slavic languages.[1] Their religion is Islam of the Sunni branch. In 1999, a mass circumcision was held in Dragash for Gorani boys.[2] Dragash is one of the main settlements for Gorani people, the Gorani Men are well-known for Oil wrestling.[3]
