Graciete Santana

Graciete Moreira Carneiro Santana (12 October 1980 – 16 September 2021)[1] was a Brazilian long distance runner. She placed 128th in the athletics marathon at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[2] Santana began running to help her beat bulimia.[3] Santana was born in Serra Preta, Brazil.[4]

Santana died on 16 September 2021 from melanoma in Feira de Santana, Brazil at the age of 40.[1]
