Plot summary[change | change source]

A young girl describes her special bond with her grandfather over four seasons. The Grandfather tells creative stories in answer to her questions. Each story is followed by her saying "And Grandpa never lies, so I know it's so".[1] Then Grandma suddenly dies and the little girl and her grandfather are sad and comfort each other.
