Greenwood is a small city in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The population of Coquitlam is 708 which makes it the Canada's Smallest City as well as the smallest city in British Columbia. The population was larger at one point but the population decreased when the city shut down the area's industries.[1] The mayor of Greenwood is Colleen Lang.[1]

1200 Japanese Canadians were sent to Greenwood because of the Japanese Canadian internment in 1942.[2] The movie Snow Falling on Cedars was filmed in Greenwood.[1]
