Gulshan Kumar Dua (5 May 1951 – 12 August 1997) was an Indian music and film producer who started the T-Series music label in 1983. By the 1990s, he made T-Series one of the biggest music companies in Bollywood.[2]

After Gulshan Kumar's death in 1997, T-Series was taken over by his younger brother Krishan Kumar and his son Bhushan Kumar. His daughters, Tulsi Kumar and Khushalii Kumar, have also followed in his footsteps and become playback singers.[3][4][5]
