Győző Forintos

Győző Victor Forintos (30 July 1935 – 6 December 2018) was a Hungarian chess master and an economist. He was born in Budapest. He first participated in the Hungarian Championship as early as 1954 and became the national champion in 1968/1969. Forintos was awarded the International Master title in 1963 and the Grandmaster title in 1974.

Forintos died in Budapest on 6 December 2018 at the age of 83.[1]
