Huey Joel Deckard (March 7, 1942 – September 6, 2016) was an American politician. For most of his political career, he was a Republican. He notably served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Indiana's 8th congressional district from 1979 to 1983. He was also a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from 1966 to 1974. He was the Reform Party's nominee for U.S. Senator in 2000

Deckard was born in Vandalia, Illinois. He died due to an apparent heart attack in McKinney, Texas. He was 74.[1]
