Hans Breder (October 20, 1935 – June 18, 2017) was a German-American artist. His works have been presented in several places in the United States and all over the world. He has shown with the Richard Feigen Gallery (1967-1972),[1] the Mitchell Algus Gallery,[2] and Hachmeister Gallery.[3]

Breder was born in Herford, Germany. He studied at Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg in Hamburg. He was married to Barbara Welch from 1984 until his death in 2017. Breder died in Iowa City, Iowa on June 18, 2017, aged 81.
