Henry Maksoud

Henry Maksoud (8 March 1929 – 17 April 2014) was a Brazilian businessman. He got the title of Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Iowa in the United States. He was the owner of the five-star hotel Maksoud Plaza in São Paulo. He was also the owner of the magazine Visão. He was Chairman of the Engineering Institute of São Paulo from 1967 to 1968.

Maksoud was born in Aquidauana, Mato Grosso do Sul.

Maksoud died after having a cardiac arrest on 17 April 2014 in São Paulo. He was 85.[1]
