Herb Trimpe

Herbert W. "Herb" Trimpe[1] (May 26, 1939 – April 13, 2015) was an American comic book artist and occasional writer. He was best known as the seminal 1970s artist on The Incredible Hulk and as the first artist to draw for publication the character Wolverine, who later became a breakout star of the X-Men.

He was born in Peekskill, New York.

Trimpe died suddenly in Hurley, New York on April 13, 2015 at the age of 75.[2]
