Ian McDonald (25 June 1946 – 9 February 2022) was an English multi-instrumental musician. He was best known as a founding member of progressive rock band King Crimson in 1969, and of Foreigner in 1976.

McDonald died at his home in New York City, on February 9, 2022, at the age of 75.[1]
