Ian Tuxworth

Ian Lindsay Tuxworth (18 June 1942 – 21 January 2020) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Country Liberal Party and later the Northern Territory Nationals. He served as the second Chief Minister of the Northern Territory from 1984 until he resigned in 1986. He was also elected to the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly in 1974.

Tuxworth was born in Wollongong, New South Wales. In 1951, he moved to Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. Tuxworth died on 21 January 2020 in Perth, Western Australia. He was 77.[1]
