Ignaz Puschnik

Ignaz Puschnik (5 February 1934 – 17 December 2020) was an Austrian football midfielder. He played for Austria from 1957 to 1964 and during the 1958 FIFA World Cup.[1] He also played for Kapfenberger SV from 1956 to 1964. Puschnik was born in Vienna.

Puschnik spent his entire senior career at Kapfenberg SV. At the beginning of his career in 1954, Kapfenberg had just been promoted to the state league and was able to hold the league until 1959. In 1961 the resurgence succeeded, which was followed by the immediate descent. In 1963 the Styrians rose again. After another descent in 1967, Puschnik ended his career.

Puschnik died on 17 December 2020 in Vienna at the age of 86.[2]
