Igor Vovkovinskiy (Ukrainian: Ігор Вовковинський, romanizedIhor Vovkovynskyj (aka Igor Ladan) September 18, 1982 – August 20, 2021) was a Ukrainian-American law student, interviewee and actor. He was best known for being the tallest person living in the United States until his death. He was 7 feet 8+13 inches (234.5 cm) tall. He was raised in Rochester, Minnesota.[1] Vovkovinskiy was born in Bar, Vinnytsia Oblast.

Vovkovinskiy's height was caused by a tumor pressing on his pituitary gland, causing his body to have released large amounts of growth hormone.[2]

In 2019, Vovkovinskiy was diagnosed with heart disease. He died on August 20, 2021 in Rochester, aged 38.[3]
