The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (also just called the Teamsters) is an American labor union of truck drivers, airline workers, food processors, graphic designers, police officers, and other employees.[1][2] With over 1.4 million members, it is one of the largest unions in the United States.

The Teamsters was founded in 1903, when most packages and other goods were delivered by a team of horses or oxen.
