Italian-American Civil Rights League

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Italian-American Civil Rights League (IACRL) is a group to politically and publicly support Italian-Americans.[1] It was founded in 1970. Although it used legal means, it was connected to organized crime and the mafia such as the Colombo Crime Family. The group wanted to improve the image of mobsters and the Mafia. Today, the organization offers several educational and youth programs and other programs to support the community.
