Iulia Motoc

Iulia Motoc (born 20 April 1967 in Timişoara) is a Romanian international law professor. From 2010 to 2014, she was a judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania.[1] She was also a member of the Human Rights Committee for many years. She graduated from the School of Law at the University of Bucharest. In October 2013, she was made a judge at the European Court of Human Rights. In January she started her mandate as Judge at the European Court of Human Rights[2]

She is married to Mihnea Motoc (Permanent representative for Romanian to the EU). They have one child.[3]
