Ivan Stepanovych Plyushch (September 11, 1941 – June 25, 2014) was a Ukrainian politician. He served as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament of Ukraine) three times.

He served as chairman from July 9, through July 23, 1990 (acting), from December 5, 1991 through May 11, 1994 and from February 1, 2000 through May 14, 2002.

Plyushch died on June 25, 2014 at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer, aged 72.[1]
