József Sas

József Sas (born József Polacsek; 3 January 1939 – 17 January 2021) was a Hungarian actor, comedian and theatre manager. He was director of the Mikroszkóp Theatre from 1985 to 2009. He was born in Békéscsaba, Hungary. His career lasted from 1957 to 2018.

Sas was hospitalized with COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Hungary.[1] He died on 17 January 2021 from the infection in Budpaest, aged 82.[2]
