Jörg Kastendiek

Jörg Kastendiek (18 September 1964 – 13 May 2019) was a German politician. He was a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). He was on the Bürgerschaft, the state parliament of Bremen, from 1991 to 2005, and again from 2007 until his death in 2019. Kastendiek also was senator of Bremen from 2005 to 2007, as Senator for Economy and Ports and as Senator for Culture.

Kastendiek died in Bremen on 13 May 2019 from lymphoma. He was 54.[1]
