Julianna Michelle Childs (born March 24, 1966), known professionally as J. Michelle Childs, is an American politician and lawyer. She is the United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina since 2010.

In December 2021, President Joe Biden nominated her to be the Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.[1]

In January 2022, the White House said that Childs was one of the possible candidates to replace Stephen Breyer on the U.S. Supreme Court.[2][3]
