Jacques Herlin (17 August 1927 – 7 June 2014) was a French character actor. He was active from 1956 until his death. His acting career stated off as appearing in comedy movies such as Don Camillo in Moscow (1965), Sexy Susan Sins Again (1968) and Property Is No Longer a Theft (1973). His later movies were National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985), A Good Year (2006), Of Gods and Men (2010) and Farewell, My Queen (2012).

Herlin was born in Le Vésinet, Yvelines as Jacques de Jouette. Aside from French, he could speak English, German and Italian.

Herlin died on 7 June 2014 at a hospital in Paris, aged 86.[1]
