Jacques Languirand (May 1, 1931 – January 26, 2018) was a Canadian radio host, writer, and actor. He was born in Montreal, Quebec.

He hosted the same radio show, Par 4 chemins on Radio-Canada, for 42 years. He was awarded the C.M. (Member of the Order of Canada) on December 21, 1987, and the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on May 8, 2003.[1]

In 2012, he became a known actor in Martin Villeneuve's Mars et Avril, a science fiction movie based on the graphic novels of the same name.[2][3]

Languirand in Montreal of Alzheimer's disease on January 26, 2018 at the age of 86.[4]
