Jacques Lesourne

Jacques Lesourne (26 December 1926 – 1 March 2020) was a French economist and writer. He served as director of the daily newspaper Le Monde from 1991 to 1994. He also published many books on economics and foresight, including Technique économique et gestion industrielle (1958) and Le calcul économique (1964). He became an Officer of the Legion of Honour in 2008.

Lesourne was born in La Rochelle. He died on 1 March 2020 in Paris. He was 91.[1]
