James A. Andersen

James A. Andersen (September 21, 1924 – May 1, 2022) was an American politician and judge. He was a Republican. He served as a member of the Washington House of Representatives (1959–1967) and the Washington State Senate (1967–1973). He was also a justice of the Washington Supreme Court from 1984 to 1995.[1]

Long was born in Auburn, Washington. He served in the United States Army as a combat infantryman in World War II. He was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge near Bastogne, Belgium.

Andersen died on May 1, 2022 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 97.[2]
