James F. Sirmons
James "Jim" Franklin Sirmons (December 16, 1917 – April 20, 2018) was an American broadcasting executive. He worked for CBS from 1942 to 2000. In 1981 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Industrial Relations, and finally in 1994 promoted to Executive Vice President of Industrial Relations.[1] He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Surmons died on April 20, 2018 in Saint Petersburg at the age of 100.[2]
