James Edward "'Jim"' McGreevey (born August 6, 1957) was the 52nd Governor of New Jersey. In 2004, he said that he was gay.[1] He resigned as governor after he said he had an affair with a male employee. He was the first openly gay governor of any state in the history of the United States.
