James Scott Levine (born August 29, 1974) is an American composer.

Early life

Levine was born in Boston, Massachusetts to David Levine and Lucy Simon. His father is Ashkenazi Jewish of Austrian Jewish, Czech Jewish, English Jewish, Hungarian Jewish, Polish Jewish and Russian Jewish descent and His mother is of Ashkenazi Jewish of German Jewish, Cuban and German descent.
