Jay Rayner

Jay Rayner is a British journalist and food critic.

Biography[change | change source]

Jay Rayner started his career as a freelance journalist. He started writing on a number of British newspapers such as The Observer and the Independent on Sunday. In 1992 he won the Young Journalist of the Year award by the British Press Awards. He also worked as a feature writer for The Guardian, The Mail on Sunday, and The Observer before he became a restaurant critic at that newspaper in 1999.[1]
