Jay Wolpert

Jay Wolpert (January 29, 1942 – January 3, 2022) was an American television producer and screenwriter. He was born in New York City. Wolpert was a producer for the game show The Price is Right. He won the 1969 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions. Wolpert also wrote the screenplay for The Count of Monte Cristo and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Wolpert died on January 3, 2022 in Los Angeles, California from problems caused by Alzheimer's disease, aged 79.[1]
