Cahiers du Cinéma

Cahiers du Cinéma (French pronunciation: [kaje dy sinema], lit. 'notebooks on cinema') is a French movie magazine. It was co-founded in 1951 by André Bazin, Jacques Doniol-Valcroze, and Joseph-Marie Lo Duca.[1][2] It was inspired by Revue du Cinéma.
It was edited by Doniol-Valcroze and, after 1957, by Éric Rohmer (aka, Maurice Scherer), it included writers Jacques Rivette, Jean-Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol, and François Truffaut.[1]
It is the oldest French-language movie magazine in publication.[3]
