Sir Jeremy James Farrar OBE FRCP FRS FMedSci (born 1 September 1961) is a British medical researcher. He is director of the Wellcome Trust, and has held this position since 2013. He was previously a professor of tropical medicine at the University of Oxford.

Farrar's research interests are in infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, dengue fever, typhoid fever, malaria, and H5N1 influenza.
