Jesús Alejandro Montero López (November 28, 1989 – October 19, 2025) was a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees in 2011 and for the Seattle Mariners from 2012 until 2015.
Montero was killed in a motorcycle crash near Valencia, Venezuela, on October 19, 2025. He was 35 years old.[1][2]
