The 2016 presidential campaign of Jim Gilmore, the 68th Governor of Virginia, was filed with the FEC on July 29, 2015.[1] He made an official launch of his campaign on July 30, 2015. It was headquartered in Henrico, Virginia. He withdrew on February 12, 2016 due to poor polling numbers.[2]
