Jinyunpelta (meaning "Jinyun shield") is an extinct ankylosaur dinosaur from China. Jinyunpelta is the basalmost ankylosaur known to have had a proper tail club.[1]

Jinyunpelta sinensis, the type species, was named by Zheng et al. in February 2018.
