John Baptist Kaggwa

John Baptist Kaggwa (23 March 1943 – 20 January 2021) was a Ugandan Roman Catholic prelate. He was Bishop Emeritus of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Masaka from 10 January 1998 until his retirement on 16 April 2019. From 19 December 1994 until 10 January 1998, Bishop Kaggwa was Coadjutor Bishop of Masaka, Uganda.[1] Kaggwa was born in Bulenga, Wakiso District, Uganda.

Kaggwa died on 20 January 2021 at a hospital in Kampala, Uganda from COVID-19 at the age of 77.[2][3]
