Jonathan "Jon" Tyler Lester (born January 7, 1984) is a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. He previously played for the Boston Red Sox and the Oakland Athletics.

He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2006.[1] He came back and made his first 2007 start.[2] He started and also won the clinching game of the 2007 World Series against the Colorado Rockies.[2] He threw a no-hitter on May 19, 2008.
