John Charles Lodge (20 July 1943 – 10 October 2025) was an English musician and singer-songwriter. He was best known as the bass guitarist and co-lead singer in the progressive rock band the Moody Blues. He was known for writing and singing "Ride My See-Saw", "Isn’t Life Strange", and "I’m Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)".

In 2018, Lodge was honored into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues.

Lodge died on 10 October 2025 from cardiac arrest at the age of 82.[1][2]
