John Edward Michael Moore, Baron Moore of Lower Marsh (26 November 1937 – 20 May 2019) was a British politician. He was a member of the Conservative Party. He was a Member of Parliament for Croydon Central between 1974 and 1992. He held a number of political roles in the Thatcher Cabinet. He served as Economic Secretary to the Treasury (1983), Financial Secretary to the Treasury (1983–1986), Secretary of State for Transport (1986–1987), Secretary of State for Health and Social Services (1987–1988) and Secretary of State for Social Security (1988–1989). He was born in Kentish Town, London.

Moore died on 20 May 2019, at the age of 81.[1]
