John Roundell Palmer, 4th Earl of Selborne GBE DL FRS (24 March 1940 – 12 February 2021), was a British peer, ecological expert, and businessman. He was a member of the House of Lords from 1971 until 2020 as a Conservative. Palmer was President of the Royal Geographical Society from 1997 to 2000.

Palmer died on 12 February 2021 in London from cancer at the age of 80.[1]
