John Sacret Young

John Sacret Young (May 24, 1946 – June 3, 2021[1]) was an American author, television producer, director, and screenwriter. He was best known for his work on the show China Beach. Young has been nominated for seven Emmys. Young was born in Montclair, New Jersey.

Young died from brain cancer on June 3, 2021 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 75.[2]
