John Martin Stapleton (born 24 February 1946) is an English journalist and broadcaster.

He has best known for his work as a presenter, newsreader and reporter on ITV breakfast television formerly (TV-am, GMTV, Daybreak and the programmes's successor Good Morning Britain), as well as hosting Nationwide and Watchdog for the BBC.
