Jok Richard[1] Church (November 28, 1949 – April 29, 2016) was an American cartoonist. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He created the Universal Press Syndicate comic strip You Can With Beakman and Jax which was later made into the TV series Beakman's World.[2]

Church died of a heart attack in San Francisco, California on April 29, 2016, aged 67.[3]
