Jon Michelet (14 July 1944 – 14 April 2018) was a Norwegian novelist. He was born in Moss, Norway. He was well known for his action-thriller novel Orion's Belt (1977). He was the editor-in-chief of the Norwegian far-left daily Klassekampen from 1997 to 2002.

Michelet died of kidney cancer on 14 April 2018 in Oslo at the age of 73.[1]
