Joseph Maguire (born 1952) is an American military personnel. He is the current acting Director of National Intelligence since August 2019. He is also the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center since December 2018.

He retired from the United States Navy as a Vice Admiral in 2010 after 36 years of military service.[1] He was the Deputy Director for Strategic Operational Planning at National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).[2]
