Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Lee Musgraves (born August 21, 1988) is an American country singer. She released her first three albums herself before being signed to Mercury Records in 2012. Her first album on the label, Same Trailer Different Park, was released on March 19, 2013. It went straight to number two in the Billboard 200.

Musgraves won New Artist of the Year at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards. She also performed her single "Follow Your Arrow".[1]

Same Trailer Different Park was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.[2]

She has won six Grammy Awards[3] (including the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2019), seven Country Music Association Awards, and three Academy of Country Music Awards.

In 2009, she sang on three songs on Mark McKinney's album Middle America.

Musgraves was born in Mineola, Texas. She wrote her first song, "Notice Me", at the age of 9.[4]
