Kaoru Yachigusa
Kaoru Yachigusa (八千草 薫, Yachigusa Kaoru, 6 January 1931 – 24 October 2019) was a Japanese actress. From 1947 to 1957 she was a member of the Takarazuka Revue. She was born in the Osaka Prefecture. Yachigusa was known for her role as Otsu in the Samurai Trilogy and as Miss Marple in Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple.
Yachigusa was married to director Senkichi Taniguchi until his death in 2007.
Yachigusa died on 24 October 2019 at a Tokyo hospital from pancreatic cancer, aged 88.[1]
